This project aims to document and reinterpret these digital photographs through a consistent visual process: converting the images into monochromatic ink-style prints. This approach highlights structural and morphological details while providing a uniform format for comparative analysis across species.
The species are divided into 20 chapters. Within each chapter, three or more feathers from each species are rendered in the inked print style, accompanied by data that references the original digital specimen number (searchable on featherbase) and situate each feather within its ecological and collection context.
